Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information lukeburgis.com collects, how it is used, and how to request its removal. It is written in plain language because that is how a privacy policy should read.
What the site collects
Contact and inquiry forms. The speaking inquiry, media, podcast, and general contact forms on this site are powered by HubSpot. When a form is submitted, HubSpot receives and stores the information entered: typically name, email address, organization, and any details provided about an event or inquiry. This data is used solely to respond to the inquiry and to manage the relationship. It is not sold to third parties.
Course enrollment. Online courses (such as Work as Soulcraft) are hosted on Kajabi. When enrolling in a course, Kajabi collects the information required for enrollment and payment: name, email address, and payment details. Kajabi's own privacy policy governs how that data is stored and processed.
Newsletter. The Luke Burgis Newsletter is hosted on Substack. Subscribing is handled entirely on Substack's platform at read.lukeburgis.com, and Substack's privacy policy applies to subscriber data.
Cookies and tracking
Google Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may log the request (IP address, browser, referring page) when fonts are served. No cookies are set by Google Fonts.
HubSpot tracking. Pages that embed HubSpot forms may load the HubSpot tracking script, which sets cookies to identify returning visitors and measure form performance. These cookies are first-party (set on this domain) and are used for form analytics, not for advertising.
No advertising trackers. This site does not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising or retargeting scripts.
Third-party services
The site relies on a small number of third-party services:
- HubSpot — contact forms and CRM
- Kajabi — course hosting and enrollment
- Substack — newsletter
- Google Fonts — web typography
- GitHub Pages — site hosting
Each service has its own privacy policy. Data shared with these services is limited to what is necessary for the service to function.
Data is not sold
Personal information collected through this site is never sold, rented, or traded to third parties.
Removal requests
To request that personal data be deleted from any form submission, course enrollment, or mailing list, contact [email protected]. Requests are handled promptly.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
